Nipa Hut Competition

The Head teacher of Calingag High School and PTA members have annouce a brilliant idea, to have NIPA HUT competition for all students and their parents. Because they desperately and urgently need an assembly rooms, the head teacher said, “Why not involve our students and their families who can build the best Nipa Hut for our school?” The focus of this project is to develop opportunities for the students to have a “Learning Avenue” and at the same time, creating something for their school that they can be proud of. They will be able to use these huts as an assembly hall for meetings, Home Economics lessons, Nutrition Day and even for relaxation time. Unfortunately, these huts will not survive strong winds and will not keep safe everyone from the elements. But it’s very good start.
