The Administrative Building

These photos show the administrative building and bulletin board outside it. The women above are the administrative staff who work to keep the school running. This is the open area canteen, where the children can buy snacks at lunch. It was newly renovated after the 2015 typhoon destroyed the old original makeshift structure. This was made possible by the money donated by the Calleva Foundation, which was used to contribute to the repair of the unfinished building. The other photo is one of several local people who have the opportunity to sell snacks to the children. This benefits both locals, who can earn extra money, and the students, who have the chance to buy food, since there is no “convenience store” nearby.
